Code of Conduct

 

We want to make sure Westgate is e a safe, comfortable, fun environment for guests of all ages all hours of the day.

Westgate City Center, including its designated roadways and parking lots are private property. The following Code of Conduct is set forth for the purpose of protecting Westgate City Center's legitimate business interests and any violation of the Code interferes with the commercial nature and function of Westgate City Center. Your entry constitutes your consent to abide by all the posted rules governing conduct, traffic, and parking.

As a visitor at Westgate City Center, you are prohibited from engaging in any of the following activitivity:

  • Using physical force, obscene language, obscene gestures, or racial, religious, or ethnic slurs, which are likely to create a disturbance or impinge on the hearing or speech of other patrons of Westgate City Center.
  • Physically or verbally threatening any person, fighting, annoying others through noisy or boisterous activities or by unnecessarily staring, by following another person through Westgate City Centser or by using sexually explicit language or conduct, or in any other way creating a disturbance, which interferes, disrupts, or endangers Westgate City Center patrons or its commercial function.
  • Running, skating, skateboarding, rollerblading, bicycling, obstructing or interfering with free flow of pedestrian traffic or with their patrons' view of windows and other tenant displays, or assembling with the purpose of disturbing the peace or committing any unlawful act.
  • Creating litter, or throwing, discarding, or depositing any paper, glass or other matter of any kind on Westgate City Center property, except in designated trash receptacles.
  • Defacing, damaging, or destroying any real or personal property constituting part of or located at Westgate City Center and belonging to Westgate City Center, its patrons, or its tenants, including writing, spraying, scratching, or otherwise affixing graffiti on such property.
  • Pets will be permitted at Westgate City Center. Arizona leash laws will be enforced and please be a responsible pet owner.
  • Yelling, screaming, singing, playing of musical instruments, radios, or tape players, or otherwise communicating in a manner, which creates noise of sufficient volume to impinge on the hearing or peace of other patrons at Westgate City Center.
  • Engaging in non-commercial expressive activity without the proper written permission of management of Westgate City Center.
  • Solicitations of any kind, soliciting money or other contributions or donations, or distributing commercial advertising or promotional material of any kind, or offering samples if items which are sold available for sale, or available in exchange for a donation or contribution.
  • No ticket scalping, no re-selling of tickets for face value, for more than or for less than per the City of Glendale Ordinance #2359".
  • Entering, playing, bathing, taking money out of, including any activity of any kind inside of the fountains is expressly prohibited.
  • The wearing of any gang or any gang-related or oriented attire is strictly prohibited on Westgate City Center (Westgate) property.  Such prohibition applies to, without limitation, the wearing of plan T-shirt, hats, bandanas, jerseys (except on game days). Additionally, any other form of attire considered offensive by Westgate managment in its sole and unfettered discretion is also prohibited on Westgate property.
  • Sitting on floors, planters, handrails, stairs, or trash receptacles.
  • Possessing any open can, bottle, or other receptacle containing any alcoholic beverage, except in areas specifically designated for the consumption of alcohol.
  • Loitering, delaying, lingering, or remaining idle at Westgate City Center without any useful business for being present.
  • Use of professional photography or video equipment without permission from Westgate City Center management is strictly prohibited. This includes the interior or exterior of Westgate City Center. Professional equipment is anything with a lens longer than 3' in length or a wide-angle lens.
  • Assembling for the purpose of disturbing the public peace or committing any unlawful act or engaging in any unlawful activity or behavior.
  • Smoking, in any form, is prohibited inside Westgate City Center other than in designated smoking areas.
  • The possession or carrying of any firearms, simulated firearms, or weapons of any kind, openly or concealed, with or without a permit, is prohibited.
  • Tailgating, congregating, drinking alcoholic beverages in the common areas and parking lots, playing loud music, throwing footballs, setting up tents or temporary structures of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  • All children and teens (under 16) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (21 or over) after 8 p.m. Any unaccompanied children or teens under the age of 16 will be asked to contact a parent to join them for the evening or pick them up.
  • A valid driver's license, state identification card, or school identification card will be required at each entrance to Westgate City Center. If you fail or refuse to follow this Code of Conduct, you will be asked to leave Westgate City Center. If you fail or refuse to leave Westgate City Center when requested to do so, you will be arrested and prosecuted for Criminal Trespass.
